Planning a trip well takes time, thought, and attention before anything is booked. The planning fee allows us to give that work the time it deserves and make recommendations based on what is right for you, rather than simply what is easiest to book.
Because every trip is different, the amount of planning involved can vary. We’ll explain the applicable fee during your Discovery Call before any planning begins, so you can decide whether you would like to move forward.

Once we have a clearer picture, we will explain the applicable planning fee before any research or planning begins. You can then decide whether you would like to move forward.

The planning fee and supplier compensation cover different parts of the work. The planning fee reflects the time spent researching your trip, considering the options, and guiding the planning process. Supplier compensation is connected to the travel booking itself.
No. The planning fee is separate from the cost of your travel and is paid before research and planning begin.
Planning fees are generally based on the trip, not charged per traveler. Depending on what you are planning, the fee may apply per trip, per group, or per destination wedding.
The planning fee may be refunded if no planning work has begun. Once work on your trip has started, the fee becomes non-refundable.
Once planning has begun, the planning fee still applies because it covers the work completed during the planning process, whether or not you ultimately decide to book.
Changes are a normal part of planning a trip. If the scope of the trip changes significantly, we will revisit the planning involved and let you know if an additional fee applies before moving forward.
The service charge is generally used for standalone travel arrangements, such as a flight or hotel booking. It may also apply when additional booking work falls outside the planning originally discussed.
